We see children as capable and curious. Play is how they make sense of the world — open-ended, joyful, purposeful play. Through building, storytelling, art, movement, and exploration, they develop language, literacy, math, social-emotional, and fine motor skills. Teachers design experiences that are intentional and inspiring, then step back and let children lead.
Rooms are set up for children to reach things themselves. Low shelves hold blocks, books, art materials, and loose parts. A child might spend twenty minutes at the light table, then move to the rug to build. At least two hours of outdoor learning happens each day, weather permitting. Children help put things away, so the room belongs to them.
Teachers watch first, then act. They notice what holds a child's attention and build the next invitation from it. You will not find worksheets here. You will find a teacher crouched beside a child, asking a question rather than giving an answer, and a classroom where the work on the wall is the children's own.
What a day looks like
Mornings begin at 7:30. A child hangs up their bag, finds their name, and joins whatever is already underway. The first part of the day is unhurried, so children can settle before the day picks up pace. Some need a few minutes near a teacher before they step in.
Play, small-group learning, and outdoor time fill the middle of the day. A teacher might gather three or four children for a game with letters, or sit with one child sorting shells. Meals and rest follow the children's needs. Then it is back outside, weather permitting, for at least two hours across the day.
The afternoon slows into quieter choices. Children might return to a block tower or look at books while teachers help gather coats and bags. Pickup runs from 7:30 AM to 5 PM, and a 5:30 option begins in August 2026. Families hear about the day in small pieces: what a child built, who they sat with, what they noticed outside.
How we work with families
At pickup, a teacher tells you one real thing your child did that day. Not a summary, just a moment. Questions get answered the same way, in plain language, at the door or by phone. If something needs more time, we find it.
The first weeks are handled gently. Children visit before they start, and the first days are shorter if that helps. You can stay close, call, or check in. We will tell you honestly how your child is doing, and we will ask you what helps at home so we can do the same here.

Tour the room
Come see the classroom your child would join and meet the teachers who run it. Bring your child and your questions.

Enroll and settle in
Complete enrollment and plan a first week that suits your child's routine. We will agree on the days and the pace.

What should my child bring on the first day?
Most families pack a change of clothes, a comfort item for rest, and anything that helps their child feel at home. Label everything with a name. Ask us if you are unsure what your child needs.
What if there is no place right now?
Families can ask to be told when a place opens for their child's age. We will get in touch as soon as we know.
